Hydrant flushing will take place throughout the Town from October 14th to October 31st. This routine maintenance helps ensure the quality of our water supply and maintain the efficiency of our hydrants.

What you need to know:

Flushing may cause temporary water discoloration. If this occurs, run your cold water until it clears.

Water pressure may be lower during flushing in your area, but this will be temporary.

As of the morning of Thursday, September 26th, 2024, the Town of Erwin is still awaiting the delivery of the Deer Management Assistance Program (DMAP) permits from the NYS DEC. NYS DEC has Indicated that we will be receiving them at some point this week. Once the permits are received at our office, all registered hunters will receive a mailing with pertinent information, as well as their first DMAP permit.
